The feldspar quartz available from Madagascar is uniquely combined with smokey quartz giving the mineral this part random part uniform speckled and striped appearance, carving and polishing can produce some totally unique shapes for handling or as grand display pieces. Feldspar is also known as a  tectosilicate mineral that's fairly common and predominately white however this combination with quartz is more of a cream colour.
